If you are a large company looking to bid on Federal or State solicitations, we can assist that company with a SDVOSB or VOSB partner that will satisfy the legal requirements to allow that company to legally bid on a solicitation in the Federal or State agency. The Federal SDVOSB and VOSB programs were developed to help agencies meet the Federal Government-wide goal that at least 3% of the total value of all prime-contracts be made to small businesses owned by SDVOSBs. Some states, like Illinois and Indiana, also have SDVOSB / VOSB set-aside requirements. Each state, of course, has its own laws pertaining to Set aside requirements to bid on a solicitation as well as determining a winning bid. The Federal law simply allows contracting officers within all Federal Agencies, to create set-asides for SDVOSBs and even make sole-source awards if they choose to do so in an effort to meet the 3% goal.
